Marc kept the miles down by starting the route early on saturday morning in Kinross😁We left and headed north towards Glenshee where the weather was very kind to us and gave us a sunny morning. After coffee we headed towards The Lecht before going back down the hill and across the country towards Aviemore for lunch. While it got really windy, it stayed dry and sunny.
After Aviemore and some more fuel, we headed west across The Laggan and into the rain. This got heavy around Fort William (the wettest place in the country) and while we got damp, it had stopped by the time we had a break at Ballachulish for coffee and cake. Then back down the road through the stunning Glen Coe, and back via Tyndrum for fuel. Even the motorway bit at the end seemed good and all was well with the world when I got home.
Not one of us got our cameras out the whole trip, so you'll have to make do with these pics. I promise to do better next time!!!
The Route
The route wasn't quite as the picture below suggests, Marc took us on the twisty route where possible and we only really hit the motorways at the start and end of the journey.
