About the event
The EDAM Training Weekend

This is a new training feature for 2026, that we're offering to all our members and associates.
Take your riding to the next level at our EDAM development training weekend. This focused programme sharpens observation, planning, and machine control in real-world conditions. You will ride with experienced observers, receive structured feedback, and refine the techniques that underpin safe, progressive, and enjoyable riding. Train alongside like-minded riders, strengthen group standards, enjoy a social evening with friends and return to the road with greater confidence, consistency, and control.

Two days of observed riding with an EDAM National Observer
Riding across some of the best roads around lowland Scotland
A chance to chat to other members over a meal and a pint
A full written report at the end of the session
Open to all members and associates
