Oban for Lunch

The first big run of the season off to Oban for a posh (read expensive) chippie lunch.

Meet from 08:00 - side-stands up at 08:30

• Newbridge McDonalds - Meet/breakfast/fuel

• Callander - just driving through

• Tyndrum Green Welly - coffee/fuel/toilet (30 mins)

• Oban Harbour - Lunch/fuel (60 mins)

• Bridge Over the Atlantic - sightseeing

• Lochgilphead - driving through

• Inveraray - stop view/ice cream/toilets (20 mins)

• Rest and be Thankful - view (10 mins)

• Arrochar - fuel (extra stop if needed)

• Balloch Starbucks/Costa/Greggs/Subway - coffee/fuel/toilet (30 mins)

• Back home via Stirling M9

  • I'll be leaving at J4 - you may carry on

• Option to go over the Erskine Bridge and back along the M8 to Edinburgh (slightly faster, but can be busy)

  • Some of us will leave the motorway before Newbridge

Should be home (Newbridge) by about 18:30ish
